The Story:

Love Unexpected by Ritu Kakar is a story of a girl named Kaira, an independent and ambitious girl. Making her dream a reality by starting a Cafe Library, which made her happy and accomplished in her life. Kaira’s brother married her best friend Natasha and Kaira didn't want anything else, a happy family, a new addition to the family her niece, dream cafe but the only thing that bothered her is Drew’s re-arrival, brother of her sister-in-law. Because of one past incident between Kaira and Dew, there were a bit jittery moments between two families. And Dew came back for his sister’s delivery after 4 years. This was making Kaira tense, as it made her uncertain of how things will be between them in the future.

Later, the story continues with Kaira completing a business deal with a successful entrepreneur ‘Aveer with whom Kaira falls in love with him at their very first meet. But because of her past decisions and the fact that Dew was at her house, it made her confused even more. And Aveer had been impressed with Kaira’s cheerful behavior and enjoyed her company. He did everything to know more about her. So what will Kaira decide about her future? What had happened between her and Dew? What does Aveer feel about Kaira? Will she choose him? 

My Take: 

The book Love Unexpected is fun and fascinating to read. A simple and uncomplicated love story. This is the second book that I’m reading of the author Ritu Kakar and must say she had done even more impressive job in this book. Though I liked her previous book ‘One Precious Moment’, but this book ‘Love Unexpected’ is now my favorite. A simple, cheerful and lovely story. The author has expressed everything clearly and in detail. I felt all the emotions that the author has described. And the book is easy to read. The interesting part of the book I liked is seeing the passion to fulfill the dream of Cafe Library & off-course the first meet.
