The Blue Unicorn's Journey To Osm By Sybrina Durant

The Blurb:

A unicorn fairy-tale from the unicorn's point of view.
"Durant’s story is slyly whimsical as she builds up the world of Marbryn, a world where there are many wonders, but also threats to the existence of Blue’s tribe." - Jack Magnus From Reader's Favorite.
"The Blue Unicorn…reads like old time fairy tales…where life and death choices are made…" - From Fundinmental As The Eyes See It Blog
Everybody loves unicorns! OK maybe they don't but for those who do, they will love this story about a little unicorn who was born into a tribe of magical, metal horned unicorns. The little guy has no magic and he has no metal but somehow he must save the tribe from an evil sorcerer.

The Story:

The story is a Unicorn Fairy-tale, a journey for becoming more. It’s a story about the metal-horned unicorn tribe that live in Marbryn. Before the birth of Blue, it was foretold that this unicorn will be the savior of the tribe, a savior from the Evil Magh. Magh is an evil sorcerer that kills unicorn for magical. But the tribe's hopes are crushed at the birth of the blue unicorn, as he is born without a metal horn and no metal means no magic. Later, after 20 years, when Blue is all grown up he learns there is still a way to save the tribe, a way to travel from forest to Muzika woods; where is will find Numen, the moon star, who will help them save the tribe and move to Unimaise, a unicorn Universe.

So, the journey began with Blue along with him, his friend Gaiso, a deer, a fire-bird, and a Pendragon all in search of Muzika Woods. But the journey from Marbryan to forest, from forest to small mountains and mountains to Rainbow land is not easy. And Blue has to manage everything from saving the tribe and to fight the war at the end own his own. So how will Blue Unicorn save his tribe without any magic? Why is Magh after the peaceful Unicorn tribe? Who will win the war?

My Take:

The story is a delight and a treat to read. I loved the photos at the very start of the chapters; It gave illustrations of the scene perfectly and to imagine the unicorn was easy. The Author Sybrina Durant has done an amazing job while writing the small details and with well described scenes, the characters, the balanced suspense and the great reveal, everything is perfect and appreciable. The Author, Sybrina Durant has written an easy flowing story-line, with not much confusion straight to the story. The magical powers of each Unicorn are perfect and interesting to read. The part where Blue travel through the woods is my favorite part. The fire-bird’s help and the last war. I did get emotional at the end. The story will take to you on a ride of emotional yet unique journey of Blue unicorn.

Overall I liked the book very much, even though it may seem like a children's story. I found that is interesting for grownups, too. So click on the link below a be a part of Blue's team to save his tribe and to see the transformation of The Blue Unicorn’s Journey To Osm: https://amzn.to/2F46tF4

The Panopticon Experiment: The Siklus Series, Book 1 By Rachel Caldecott

The Blurb:

DISAPPEARANCES…TERRORIST ACTS…
THE FUTURE OF HER WORLD IS AT STAKE.

For interspecies telepaths like Flo, the world seems fair and just. Humans and animals live in harmony and the world government represents all sentient beings. When a terrorist attack nearly kills her closest friend, Lonce, the world’s last snow leopard, Flo realizes that life in New Era London is not as safe as she thought.
Generations after the apocalypse of the twenty-first century, a new society based on species-equality has emerged from the ashes of the old.
However, marginalised and resentful, those humans lacking the necessary telepathy gene form a secret society - The Human Supremacy League. Its mission: Restore man as the dominant species and break the genetic bonds between man and animal.
Flo must solve the mystery of the disappearances and stop the League. But she can’t do it alone.

The Story & My Take:

The story, The Panopticon Experiment is about inter-species telepathy between Human and Animal. The Humans divided into 2 categories, Com and Non Com's. Having ability to telepath and those who could communicate with animals through mind are the Coms and the Non Coms were those who lacked this ability. A terrorist attack that would have killed Flo's friend, Lonce; a last snow leopard. Flo is convinced that the attack is related to the HSL. Flo is an orphan, in an accident she lost both her parents when she was only seven, and since then she was living with Seb and his parents and with legal guardian George.

Out of blue, Flo starts having nightmares; dreams that were related to other animals being tortured. George and Seb thinks those are just dreams but Flo could sense their pain and she knew it's was something more. So what will Flo do? Will Flo and Seb will be able to stop the HSL? Who are HSL what do they really do?

The Panopticon Experiment is a story that shows friendship and the non breakable bond between humans and animal. The Author Rachel Caldecott has described, the feeling of care and affection between Flo and Lonce, a snow leopard is just beautiful. Anyone that has a pet can related and feel the bond easily just as I did. I liked the detailed description of the laboratory, the camp and the island Rosendale the most and that was done remarkably well. As I read, chapter by chapter the story line became more interesting and mysterious which is great way of writing a book. The tension built and the shock when the mystery was revealed, everything was great and at the end I was satisfied that I read this book. The most interesting part of the book that I liked/ loved was, the ending fight; the rescue if I may say.

Overall I loved the book and if you are looking for something new and unique story click on the link below and experience the friendship between Flo and Lonce by reading The Panopticon Experiment: https://amzn.to/35SM69Q

Tell Me Why By Ruth O’Neill

The Blurb:

Lauren Adams is just an ordinary single girl, until one split-second decision throws her life into crisis.

When she meets the handsome and intriguing Max Davies during a girls’ weekend away, she can’t believe her luck. But it soon turns out to be her biggest mistake.
Max gets accused of murder, a murder that allegedly happened on the same night he and Lauren met.
Is Max really the man she thinks he is? Is he really innocent of murder? And why does Lauren hear him late at night, building something in the basement – a basement he’s made clear is out of
bounds?
Tell me why follows a woman who just wants to be loved, but who instead ends up in a tangled web of lies, deceit, and terror.
A chilling read you won’t stop talking about.

The Story:

Lauren Adams, a thirty-two-year-old a primary school teacher; loving her work and living her normal single life. She didn’t expect much from life or had any expectations, usual calls from her mother; Nancy and from her brother Jacob was enough for her to be grateful. She was excited to spend a soul weekend with her 4 fiends; Chloe, Kate, Holly, & Lucy. A two-night stay in a six-berth caravan was all they were waiting for a girls' night out. Lauren never thought or imagined this trip will change her life from a normal to a nightmare. At the first night of the trip, Lauren finds Max in every unfortunate way. But she is taken back by him and is compelled to find more about him.

Lauren the only witness and Max being the suspect of the murder, police is convinced that Max is the killer but Lauren is sure that he is innocent and does everything and beyond to help him out of the charges.

The story revolves around Max’s time in prison and Lauren doing her best and again her ethics to help him as she is convinced that he is nothing to do with the murder.

So is she right? Is max nothing but a normal guy that she saw and loved or a psychopath?

My Take:

I will not take long but will go ahead and say it, that by far this is my favorite book. Every time I read a book, I say and describe the story to my family and my friends about the plot and story line, and in this book “Tell me why” from the very start I told my friend that, “this is going to be my favorite book so far that I’m reviewing.” And now after I have finished reading it I must say, I’m not disappointed.

The Story is interesting and mysterious at the same time. I have read few mystery novels, and I have seen in some of them that, some time to build suspense a confusion is created first, but in this book Author Ruth O’Neill has created suspense in such a way and without any confusion that I found myself astonished and speechless. The characters are described in the best way; I didn’t feel any overshadowing of character by the mains. Lauren is a strong and beautiful woman and this story is one of the examples which shows that we can overcome any problem or struggle in life by having hope and a will to live life. The most interesting part of the book is the backstory of Max. Was there signs from the start which showed that Max is a troubled man, or it was simply just a mistake?

Overall, I loved this book and would definitely recommend everyone to read this to find out the secret of Max. Click the link and find the answer of Tell me why? : https://amzn.to/2ERKIbl

The good thing about the book Devi2Deva is Priya Florence Shah the Author has herself gone through these difficulties and she has used the same techniques she has described here. It's not easy to overcome inner struggles and insecurities yet alone write about it. I must say Author Priya Florence Shah has shown great affords and tremendous hard work in writing the book Devi2Deva. There are many other book references that are used to help women completely.

Also, the motivational quotes from inspiring people makes this book even more interesting to read. Author Priya Florence Shah has also provided Tips and recommendations for professional help. This book also contains, tests to know yourself better for eg. What would I do right now if I had absolutely nothing stopping me?

I loved reading this book as it teaches you to do things and not ask yourself how will it happen but only what you want and why you want. Which is exactly what women need to understand.

The only thing lacking was, the book is written keeping in mind for mostly married women but being a 23-year old I wanted to read more about common difficulties faced by women of all ages, but that's only my thought.

Overall liked the book would really recommend every woman to read this at least once and share with other women too. Whether you are a young girl or a woman, everyone should be equal and independent and mostly happy so click on the link below to read the book and turn yourself from Devi 2 Diva: https://www.amazon.in/Devi2Diva-Emotional-Self-Care-Book-Women-ebook/dp/B07TSZ6LCN/

Beyond Our Melancholy by Zeba Ali

The Blurb:

"Dream Catcher. It catches your bad dreams. But Fazal Bashir never wanted one.
Tasted the fruits of success quite early for his age, the billionaire Fazal Bashir is intrigued by the veiled lady of his dreams, who always begs for his help to save her. As it is proved, people close to God are tested; likewise, a new problem is waiting for Fazal which will force him to look into his past.
Beyond Our Melancholy is a young adult spiritual romance novel, a story which puts you on thinking about life and its intricacies."

The Story:

The story is about two lost souls who find their happiness in each other after struggling for seven years of personal misery. Zinia a young, scared girl, due a tragic and awful event that happened at a young age, left her broken and shattered who trusts no one. Because of the trauma it’s difficult for her to interact with others without a panic attack and hides herself in a veil which leads her to total isolation from the outside world.

Fazal Bashir a Billionaire, a great believer of his Lord and Creator. He believes that everything lord does is for a reason. After forced Nika, Fazal goes abroad for further studies and later find that his parents' deaths which leads him to come back only to find that her wife and others were gone. Building his business and making himself a success. Only a veiled girl made him restless in his dreams, begging him to help her. It shocks Fazal when he sees the veiled lady of his dream in real after 7 years, those brown eyes belonged to his childhood friend and his wife Zinia. After seeing her sad and unhappy Fazal takes responsibility for her and her mother. But Zinia hates him, hates his gut that he just can’t come back after 7 years and expect everything to be ok. So what will happen, will Zinia forgive Fazal and live rest of her life with him? Will Fazal be able to help Zinia just like she begged him in his dreams? What’s the tragic event that made a cheerful and talkative girl a scared and vulnerable girl?

My Take:

Beyond our melancholy, the title describes itself simple and elegant, a simple love story of two lost and distanced souls. Author Zeba Ali has described the relation remarkably, from hate to realization, from care to love. Every scene and every chapter that led to their love was simply perfect, and I admired the patience of Fazal that he had for his wife’s struggles and arrogance. The story itself shows us to have faith in our god, to have hope that one day everything will be ok, to have courage and stand for yourself, to love without condition, to live happily as we have only one life. I like every part and every chapter of the book. It has a bit of mystery as well, in the start it has only shown that Zinia is traumatized by an even from her past and has not recovered since then. But until you have not reached halfway through the book, you don’t know what happened to her; the suspense makes you read the book in a flow. The small moments described between a husband and wife are amazing, like reading from the Quran that made the book special. Also, Author describes how only you can overcome your fear and only you can help yourself if you decide to.

Overall loved the book and would recommend, if you want to get away from all the drama in your life, just read this book and witness the pure and simple love story of Fazal and Zinia with Beyond our Melancholy. Click on the link and read it yourself: https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B07YCMLJZF/ref

The Orange Grove By Kate Murdoch

The Blurb:

Blois, 1705. The château of Duc Hugo d'Amboise simmers with rivalry and intrigue. Henriette d'Augustin, one of five mistresses of the duc, lives at the chateau with her daughter. When the duc's wife, Duchesse Charlotte, maliciously undermines a new mistress, Letitia, Henriette is forced to choose between position and morality. She fights to maintain her status whilst targeted by the duchesse who will do anything to harm her enemies. The arrival of charismatic tarot reader, Romain de Villiers, further escalates tensions as rivals in love and domestic politics strive for supremacy. In a society where status is a matter of life and death, Henriette must stay true to herself, her daughter, and her heart, all the while hiding a painful secret of her own.

The Story:

The story of The Orange Grove takes place in the 18th century. In a château, Duc Hugo d’Amboise lives with his wife and five mistresses. Letitia is the new mistress, young and beautiful, whose presence affects Duchesse Charlotte, wife of Hugo, the most. Living a life with her husband and his mistresses isn't easy but the Duchesse manages it quite well and has a good reputation. It doesn't bother her much when her husband brings in young Letitia until he is in love with her and wants her to have his child, an heir. The Duc and Duchesse have a daughter but no son, also the more she wishes to have children the more she can’t. Romain de Villiers, a charismatic tarot reader and friend of the Duchesse, shares a secret with her. It’s a century where everything is done for status and reputation, so what will the Duchesse do to maintain her status? Will she accept it just like she did before with the other four mistresses or this time will it be different?

My take:

Author Kate Murdoch has described the era beautifully, whilst reading it was easy for me to imagine myself in that era with silk gowns, drinking tea, hiding my face in a fan as I laughed, and many such small things that made the book more interesting than it already was. I love the way the author has written this book with a story that does not only revolve around the Duc, Duchesse and Letitia, but around each character. All the characters, Duc and Duchesse, the five mistresses, along with the children and other side characters, everyone had their backstory explained. Everyone has secrets of their own and just like us, there are many mysteries and secrets hidden in this book, which will leave you shocked. The difficulties and emotions are described beautifully and with care. The highlight of the book was the backstory of Henriette and her love story.

Overall, the book is great and will transfer you to a whole new era of the 18th century. Where you will feel love, jealousy, betrayal, loyalty, mistakes, regrets, sacrifices, and reality. It’s a great read and I would recommend others read The Orange Grove. Click on the link and discover for yourself the story of The Orange Grove: mybook.to/TheOrangeGrove

What is the secret that everyone is after? Why is Masacio wants to kill a 13-year-old?

My Take:

To start with it's a bit confusing at first. The story-line is good, but the details are missing. The confusing part is whether the book contains magic or not? It not properly explained. It seemed it was rushed to an end. The characters are not properly introduced but till the end of the book, you will have pretty much idea about the importance of each character. The good thing about the book is the storyline, it’s something unique and not an ordinary mystery novel. It feels like the author is trying to create a whole new world. The story is short, but it's not the end, the second book will release soon with the title “The secrets of Illuminates and the history Volume 2”.

Overall, the story is unique and would recommend the reader to read it for a quick read break :) Click on the link and find out by yourself the secret of the last illuminate: https://www.amazon.in/Secrets-Illuminates-Jerin-Antony-Pallithara/dp/1644292874/

ONCE UPON US By Abhiishek Mohta

The Blurb:

Arjun Bedi’s college dreams include an education, meeting new friends and hopefully launching a successful music career. With the notes in his soul, he feels the rhythm in his rhymes and the beat of the instruments even when he closes his eyes. When he meets Saatvika Lakhiani, her voice and her form inspire that music and shine through every interaction they have. There is something about her that pulls him and calls to him… an underlying feeling that maybe she is the one who will complete him and be the partner he need. However, sorority princess Abhilasha walks and talks as if Arjun is already hers, a fact that seems surer by the day. While Saatvika is not exactly looking for a relationship, there is something about Arjun that makes her catch her breath – and ensures that a confrontation with Abhilasha is inevitable.

The Story:

The Story starts with Arjun receiving news of his ex-wife Saatvika’s death. He is in shock and soon realizes that he has lost the true love of his life. Sad and ashamed of himself, he just dashed out of the room, leaving his current wife Abhilasha and his children. As he and his ex manager/ best friend Joes reaches Singapore to see her one last time, his wish is not fulfilled as Saatvika’s body was already buried. His ex- mother-law is angry on Arjun. Everyone is because he left her heartbroken. In anger, Saatvika’s mom took Arjun to her room and showed him her obsession for him even after he left her. Seeing that Arjun is sad, and he finds Saatvika’s diary and he starts reading it. So the story started with the first day of college when Saatvika and Arjun met. The story then revolves around Kate, Yamini, Charles & Arjun. Saatvika’s roommate and friend. After Arjun finishes reading a story, Arjun is a changed person. But what's the use? What will happen next?

My Take:

Starting from the start, I always enjoy college drama and a love story, and just like any love story, Arjun and Saatvika’s was the same magical and beautiful. Author Abhiishek has described the story line and built up of the relationship gracefully. I also like the stories of the other characters, Yamini’s and Kate’s. The friendship between them is simply great and the bound is forever lasting. Sometime when you read a book you get this feeling to never stop reading and ask yourself, what will happen next? I got the same feeling from this book. I enjoyed reading, and it was a fresh reminder of what being in love feels like. The only thing I didn’t like was the part where Arjun slaps his current wife and later at the end of the book his ex-wife. Being a girl, it’s a bit uncomfortable for me to read such things. As it’s not that easy that you slap and just walk out of it, leaving a wife and children. But atlas this is just a fiction and drama so no hard feeling :)

Overall, I really enjoyed reading the book: Once Upon Us. Click on the link below, to experience and refresh your memory with teen love story: https://www.amazon.in/Once-Upon-Us-Abhiishek-Mohta/dp/1706094582/

That Thing About You By Abhaidev

The Blurb:

What if co-incidences in our lives are nothing but a result of a dice thrown by some higher being?
What if, to the heavens, our lives are nothing but rows of dominos ready to be put into action?
What if we all are mere pieces of pawns carefully played upon by a cosmic chessmaster?
'That Thing About You' is an uncommon story of a common man rejected in love. This is a story of a man walking on the path of self-discovery. Subodh, a regular IT employee, is perceived as an immature man by everyone, but he isn't bothered until his love interest rejects him citing the same. Although dejected and crestfallen, he soon befriends an unusual, mysterious woman who knows everything about him and seems to have all the answers. Soon, his life goes through a lot of unexpected turns—from doubting his sanity and visiting a psychologist to a failed arranged marriage attempt made by his parents. Everything in his life seems to be in fast-forward mode. One thing that does not change, however, is this unusual “friend” of his who refuses to reveal her identity and chooses to appear at her whim.

Who is this mysterious woman? Why is she prying into his life? Where will this strange friendship lead him? Is some impending danger awaiting Subodh or is it something else altogether?

The Story:

The story starts with a conversation between two men, one old and another young man, who appeared to be from some other world.

Chapter 2 starts with the introduction of Subhod a 27-year-old, IT employee with a lack of disciplinary in life who shared a room with his office colleague in Mumbai. Its a story about a guy who is not sure what he wants in life, no plans for career and he seemed to be a bit loner too not socializing much and it results in people around calling him immature, which he was but didn't care. So after the heartbreak from the only girl Subhod liked, Subhod became more irritated than ever. And instead of socializing with office people during the office trip, Subhod spent his time shopping at an antique shop and sleeping on the bench of the theme park. And strangely after that one night, he hears a voice talking to him. Voice of a girl, at first he just doesn't believe what he heard but then the next day he hears it again and to his shock, the girl knew everything about him, from his faults to his weakness; she knew it all. Which made him obsessed with her. Almost after talking to the voice for 3 weeks for everyday Subhod realizes that he needs help and checks himself into the psychotherapy. So will the voice stop? why is he hearing a voice? Is it because he can't accept his own life so his mind is playing tricks? or is it simply an inner voice?

My take:

As I read the first chapter is confused me a bit, because there was no backstory or introduction of the characters, which resulted in mystery from the very start, who are they, that were never introduced or repeated again until the last page of the book. It just made me speechless. I never expected the story to end this way, such a magical and mysterious story.

The main character of the book Subhod is not our everyday lover types of character but a normal self-doubting man child, who is not serious about life. Author Abhaidev has described the issues and problems of the character every relatable, one can relate to it when they read along. The most favorite part of the book is the ending. It made me gasp, and I found myself dumbfounded at the twist that the author wrote. Also the unique thing about this book "That Thing About You" is that you can't expect what will happen next. Because the more you listen to the voice talking with Subhod, you too will start to think the voice is real. Oh, wait! maybe she is. Or maybe he is just losing his mind just like you with the mystery? Or maybe he just can't face his own fears so it's his inner voice guiding him?.

Overall I love the book and would definitely recommend others to read the book just to find who the girl is that Subhod keeps talking to. Dragons in the Clouds by David Blair

The Blurb:

"Dragons in the Clouds’’ is an epic adventure that takes place during a time period when Dragons were alive and freely roamed the land. The people during this time were getting eaten by a vicious species of Dragons. The ruling King finally orders the total annilation of all living dragons. A powerful wizard, named Merlinus, who is a friend to the king, does not agree with the Kings order, for Merlinus knows all Dragons are not what they seem. So he does what he must to protect a family of Dragons that he had befriended. And to protect his Dragon friends, Melinus performs the spell of weightlessness and tells the Dragons to fly up and to hide in the cover of the Clouds. He then gives the Dragons strict instruction to live within the clouds and to only come down at night to eat. An apprentice to the wizard who has grandeur of his own has a plan for Dragons that he has hidden deep within a mountain cavern. Now enters a young boy, who had also befriended a dragon, though a very young one, suddenly find themselves caught between the Kings order and a battle that has begun between two species of Dragons. A battle that would determine control of the skies above the Kingdom of Albian. This Apprentice’s plan has consequences that may bring the Kingdom and perhaps the very world we live in today to an devastating end.

The Story:

The story starts with Mr. Evans returning home from a business trip. Greeted by her eight-year-old daughter, Mr. Evan gives a gift that he brought for her from an old antique shop; a dragon toy. He explains to her that there is a story behind it that the old man told him. So after dinner, Mr. Evans started telling the story about the dragon that the old shopkeeper told him. So the journey of the story began, once there were dragons that lived among us; with us. There were two types of dragons; plant-eaters and meat-eaters. Among the villagers lived a great wizard; Merlinius, who kept the village safe from meat-eater dragons. Then there was one incident happened that lead to the incident where all the dragons from his world extincted and early ending the life of humans too.

So it starts with the death of a royal Knight; Sir Johathan. Knights are the soldier that hunted dragons and kept the village safe. So at the funeral of knight Johathan, his widow Jayasha was angry at the king knight. She blamed him that it was his fault that her husband was dead. Being a king is not an easy task, so after losing the finest knight king commanded to kill all the dragons which led to extinct of all the dragons from the world.
But the great wizard; Merlinius had his own plans and he hid a family of dragons. After the death of almost all dragons, the death in the village didn’t stop as the rival of the wizard had used the same spell to hide the other dragons who ate meats too. So how will the villagers survive this? And why would any humans save a meet eater dragons?

My Take: Having a passion for writing makes a normal person a writer and the writer that not only feels his story but also passes on the same feeling and makes the reader believe in what he believes is what makes a writer a hardworking Author. When you read a book, you can see and feel the hard work of the Author by seeing the details and by feeling the surroundings of the book by reading the details explained. In this book, I found the same vibe. The Auther David Blair has done a great job, I could see his hard work and his passion for writing, as I could feel all the moments as it was described beautifully and he has really done excellent work. As the Title reads, Dragons in the Clouds, and when I finally finished the book, at the end, it did make me believe that maybe dragons do exist in the cloud :) The main highlight in the book is the friendship between the baby dragon and the kid David. The friendship shows the deep affection and meaning between a human and animals. From the very start of the book till the very end it's a delight to read. I also like the character Jayasha mother of David the way the author has developed her character is astonished, from a grieving widow to a fearless mother, the persona of a fearless, independent and gifted with the skill of archery, the character made the book even more interesting. I also like the ending with a twist and magical.

Overall loved the magical vibes of dragons and would recommend to read it to find the dragons and enjoy the ride to the clouds. Click on the link to read the book: www.dragonsintheclouds.com

The Sunny Adventure: a story about true friendship By Ira Alice

Cover Image

The Blurb:

Mother Fox asked her little daughter to go hunting and get some food for the very first time in her life. The little fox decided to catch the Sun since it looked very appetizing. Going in search of it, the girl had no idea she would meet a little toad Loudcroak who would become her faithful friend. This charming adventure story is filled with kindness, courage, and faith, teaching children how true friendship overcomes any obstacles.

The Story:

The story start with the Redkin sleeping under a rowan tree, enjoying the summery whether, the little fox want nothing but to sleep and enjoy, but it was not possible because her mother had asked her to hunt for the very first time and she decided it's time to give mother something special. Looking at the sun, it looked delicious, So whats better to give mother a delicious sun? On her way to find Sun, she meets a little frog name Loudcroak, who quickly became her friend and accompanied her in search of the Sun, and to have a piece of it. So from running towards the deepest forest, to crossing river banks and overcoming the fever, from river to the middle of the cabbage field with delicious thick scent, the little fox and frog moved forward. Showing a great example of friendship and courage. So will they be able to get sun for her mother? Or will the story end with disappointment?

My Take:

Amazing, to describe the story in one word. The book is very cute and the pictures of the little fox and frog is what made me think that I was a kid too. Author has described every part in detailed manner, from whether to forest, from animals to their characters, everything was well written. Also I like when the little fox realizes the the frog is meant to be her food and not a friend, but she has her mind set that nothing can come between friendship. And as every children book has a moral of the story, this book has too. It's friendship that we should support each other, and if we do that we can overcome any obstacles in life. Friendship is pure and innocent.

Overall loved the book and would recommend to give this book to your children, Niece and Nephews or simply should be read in school to teach the your young ones about true friendship.

Birth of a Duo By by Chandrayan Gupta

The Blurb & Story:

Aditya Gokhale – a cynical, skeptical, reluctant teenager, and Radha Bose – a hard-working, professional, determined private investigator, end up working together. Their first case is to figure out whether the death of a television actor’s son is a suicide or murder. With Aditya’s personal life in disarray, and Radha dealing with her own demons, will they be able to put their differences in personality aside and work together? Will the partnership crash and burn, or will it be the birth of a duo?

My Take:

Starting from the start, I love the Aditya’s character. His personality is uniquely described as a sarcastic, a bit rude, down to earth, blunt, and yet with a great sense of humor. I just couldn’t stop myself from smiling or clucking on his dialogue and comments. Birth of a Duo by Chandrayan Gupta is a unique book, it's not a love story but a Mystery solving Thriller. There are few times when Author talked about depression, loneliness, new generations logic, and how everyone was losing thyself in Social Media. I liked the way he expressed the issue of social media. I also like the way chapters are written from both perspective, from Aditya view as well as from Radha's, it’s a very clever work done by the author. Once I started reading, I couldn’t stop myself from completing it. I finished reading the book within a day. Loved the puzzle and clues too. The book has described the bond between two different individuals, both have their own ethics and way of looking at the world. Even with their differences, their bond grew stronger and respectful. The message that no one can help you better than yourself is what makes the book perfect.

Overall, the book is very interesting and will definitely recommend other to read it, to solve the case of suicide or murder? With Aditya and Radha a unique duo.

More Unfairy Tales By T F Carthick

The Blurb:

A knight rescues a damsel in distress. They marry, the whole kingdom rejoices, and everyone lives happily ever after. The end.
Or at least that's what Official sources say. But what tales do insiders tell? What secrets lie buried deep inside Davey Jones' Locker? What, dear reader, about The Unfairy tales?

The stories the Knight-in-Shining-Armour and the Damsel-in-Distress have never wanted you to know. Tales which Fairyland had kept locked up in secret and thrown away the key. Until our rogue bard went back in time and ferreted out skeletons hidden within secret cupboards of desolate mansions. Our fearless crusader of truth and justice brings to you the second volume of revelations from fairyland. You will find five more unfairly tales hidden within the pages of this tiny tome, the sequel to Carthick's Unfairy Tales. Stories of elves out to decipher the ways of men and dwarves seeking to reclaim their own histories. Of spurned witches and lost wolves. These stories are going to change everything you have ever believed about fairyland and give you a peek underneath the gossamer threads of glamour and magic peddled by the Fae.

The Story:

There are 5 stories based on the side characters of the most famous fairytale.
1. From the Fairytale of “Snow White and the seven dwarfs,” the story version is written with the point of view of 7 Dwarfs.
2. From the Fairytale of “Beauty and the Beast”, the story version is written with the point of view of The Witch.
3. From the Fairytale of “Little Red Riding Hood,” the story version is written with the point of view of The hungry Fox.
4. From the Fairytale of “Rapunzel,” the story version is written with the point of view of The Witch.
5. From the Fairytale of “The Elves and the Shoemaker” the story version is written with the point of view of The Witch.

My Take:

Have you ever wondered what did the 7 dwarfs thought in the fairy tale of “Snow White and the seven dwarfs”? Yes, this book is about the side characters of the most famous fairytale from our childhood. I love fairy-tales, I basically grew up watching and reading about them. Reading this book reminded me of my childhood. If you look at the book cover, you will probably think it’s a children’s books, but trust me it’s not and you will enjoy the book very much. Every story is more interesting than other and the sense of humor of the Author is what blown my mind away. I like what the Author said “If all evil people are ugly, by corollary everyone assumes all ugly people are evil.” It just touched my heart. I never really gave a second thought about the side characters but after reading this book I can’t seem to stop wondering about it. I also liked the twist that the author gave at the end of every story, and as the Title says “More unfairly Tales” well once you read it you will agree with the Author.

Overall liked the book very much and would recommend everyone to read it to find the mystery of the side charters.

Arjun Warrier remembered Natasha as a beautiful teenager. He was unprepared for the stunning and confident entrepreneur who was facing threats from an unknown stalker. As the stalker raised the stakes, Arjun knew he had to keep close to Natasha. But, would he be able to keep his hands off her? Last time he'd walked away, it had almost destroyed them. Can he walk away unscathed this time around?

The Story:

It's a story about a girl who gets a crush on his big brother's friend when she was just 14 years old. Arjun and Natasha become friends later when he leaves for the Army, they exchange letters for 3 years. It's almost her 18th birthday when Arjun finally comes back from the Army to meet her and his best friend. But seeing her all grown up and excited for him, Arjun rejects her and breaks her heart, having his own reasons.

After ages, when Natasha is all grown up, with a successful business and well settled in Banglore an unknown threat leaves her devastated and scared.

Arjun has started his own company of protection and he's personally taking care of Natasha requested by her brother and his best friend Rahul. Seeing him she is happy but more scared to have a feeling for him. So once the stalker is caught will they finally be together? or it's just a duty call for Arjun and he will never feel anything for his best friends, little sister?

My Take:

The story is simple and great. The way Author has developed characters it was simply great. The story is not a fictional fantasy that can only happen in books or movies, I could see it happening in real life. It was relatable. And the romance scenes, it did make me blush and it was relatable too. I also loved the side characters, Tanya and Niel. But it was a bit confusing because at first she was just crushing over him and then in next, she was crying because he went to meet his family for marriage, and he comes back, then they were engaged, it was confusing at first then I just found out that this is the 2nd book, and the first book is all about Tanya and Neil, they have an entire book of their own. That is the first in this series and is called 'Seduced by Mr. Perfect'. When you read that book and then this one, you'd get it.

Overall the ebook is great and you should definitely read it. Fully recommendation for those who are looking for some mystery and love story.
