The Girl with the Lightning Brain By Cliff Ratza

The Blurb & The Story:

"Electra is exceptional. She knows that. And she also know her extraordinary abilities - the paranormal aftermath of a near-death experience at birth - are secrets that must never be revealed. Her life depends on it." So begins chapter one, which sets the stage for current trends extrapolating into an early 22nd century ominous America threatened by "Techno-Plague" and Middle East terrorism. Electra Kittner would be labeled a genetic freak and treated badly if the Government ever found out her secrets. The action twists and turns relentlessly to a suspense-filled conclusion that leaves readers eager for the sequel. Readers are invited to enjoy the series at whatever level they choose: from a gripping action-packed thriller all the way to an exploration of the timeless challenges "the human condition" presents each of us. And along the way, be prepared to meet a cast of endearing characters, each having strengths and weaknesses we can empathize with. We welcome you to join us.

My Take:

This book The Girl with the Lightning Brain revolves around the character Electra that author Cliff Ratza has developed impressively.

I loved reading this book as it has a perfect combination of culture, politics, adventure, which makes the storyline fascinating. From the very start, this book will grapes your attention fully with his captive storyline. The detailed descriptions of places, surroundings, the character developments, the expression of emotions, are impressively done. I like the way the author Cliff Ratza has written about the mystery and the extraordinary ability that is described not only in detail but with also care.

The most highlight of the book is definitely the storyline and the way the author has written this book in a lucid language that not only makes it impressive but also refreshing to read and will take you to a whole new generation with Electra. I am sure once you start reading this book you will not be able to stop yourself from completing it fully in sitting.
