Beyond My Blinkers By Subir Adhicary

About Book:

Dwarka, new Delhi's largest sub city is home to 1.1 million people. This is veteran blog writer Subiradhicary's malgudi. Competing with Krishna’s dwarfs, the name denotes aspirations. From the ruins of a medieval baoli rise dreams of a smart city. This book offers pouches of humour culled from places like Pune, Kanpur, Lucknow and the modern Dwarka and the everyday experiences provide vultures like Subir, the masala to write about the mundane matters of life which we Miss and mess with.

My Take:

Beyond My Blinkers by Subir Adhicary is a book that I absolutely adored. As I curled up with a hot cup of tea and flipped through its pages, I found myself smiling from ear to ear. Adhicary's writing style is not only engaging, but it also evokes a deep sense of empathy within the reader.

One of the things that I loved about this book was Adhicary's ability to keenly observe and reflect on doctors and medical situations. His writing is so vivid that you can almost hear the characters speaking in Hindi, adding an extra layer of excitement to every chapter.

It's hard to pick just a few favourite chapters, as each one offers something unique and special. Whether it's the Dream of Yamraj, The Mullingar Hotel, The Three Claps, or Gifting Time, every story left me with a warm feeling. In fact, I loved the book so much that the whole thing is my favourite read.

Adhicary's writing is both relatable and personal, making this book a must-read for anyone who loves a good story with a touch of humour and heart.

Overall, Beyond My Blinkers is a book that can be read again and again, with each reading bringing a different smile to your face.  So click here and read yourself the tales of Subir Adhicary a keen observer with humour and amusement in life events in Beyond My Blinkers:
