The Blue Unicorn's Journey To Osm By Sybrina Durant

The Blurb:

A unicorn fairy-tale from the unicorn's point of view.
"Durant’s story is slyly whimsical as she builds up the world of Marbryn, a world where there are many wonders, but also threats to the existence of Blue’s tribe." - Jack Magnus From Reader's Favorite.
"The Blue Unicorn…reads like old time fairy tales…where life and death choices are made…" - From Fundinmental As The Eyes See It Blog
Everybody loves unicorns! OK maybe they don't but for those who do, they will love this story about a little unicorn who was born into a tribe of magical, metal horned unicorns. The little guy has no magic and he has no metal but somehow he must save the tribe from an evil sorcerer.

The Story:

The story is a Unicorn Fairy-tale, a journey for becoming more. It’s a story about the metal-horned unicorn tribe that live in Marbryn. Before the birth of Blue, it was foretold that this unicorn will be the savior of the tribe, a savior from the Evil Magh. Magh is an evil sorcerer that kills unicorn for magical. But the tribe's hopes are crushed at the birth of the blue unicorn, as he is born without a metal horn and no metal means no magic. Later, after 20 years, when Blue is all grown up he learns there is still a way to save the tribe, a way to travel from forest to Muzika woods; where is will find Numen, the moon star, who will help them save the tribe and move to Unimaise, a unicorn Universe.

So, the journey began with Blue along with him, his friend Gaiso, a deer, a fire-bird, and a Pendragon all in search of Muzika Woods. But the journey from Marbryan to forest, from forest to small mountains and mountains to Rainbow land is not easy. And Blue has to manage everything from saving the tribe and to fight the war at the end own his own. So how will Blue Unicorn save his tribe without any magic? Why is Magh after the peaceful Unicorn tribe? Who will win the war?

My Take:

The story is a delight and a treat to read. I loved the photos at the very start of the chapters; It gave illustrations of the scene perfectly and to imagine the unicorn was easy. The Author Sybrina Durant has done an amazing job while writing the small details and with well described scenes, the characters, the balanced suspense and the great reveal, everything is perfect and appreciable. The Author, Sybrina Durant has written an easy flowing story-line, with not much confusion straight to the story. The magical powers of each Unicorn are perfect and interesting to read. The part where Blue travel through the woods is my favorite part. The fire-bird’s help and the last war. I did get emotional at the end. The story will take to you on a ride of emotional yet unique journey of Blue unicorn.

Overall I liked the book very much, even though it may seem like a children's story. I found that is interesting for grownups, too. So click on the link below a be a part of Blue's team to save his tribe and to see the transformation of The Blue Unicorn’s Journey To Osm: https://amzn.to/2F46tF4
