Author's Interview with Angelina Pelova

First, before we move forward with our Author's Interview, I would like to start with an introduction.

1. Could you please introduce yourself to us?
Angelina Pelova

2. Congratulations on your book. So what inspired you to write this book?
I have been meaning to write a book for years. I started one about ten years ago but it just wasn't working out, so I gave up. During the first lockdown, I found that I had a lot more time on my hands, so I decided to give it another go, and it just wrote itself: clearly meant to happen the second time around! So this book is a Covid baby...

3. What is the book all about?
It is about being different - with all the consequences arising from that, physical, logistical and emotional. It focuses on the struggles tall people have in life due to their height, but anyone who has trouble fitting in for whatever reason will find something to relate to.

4. Why did you choose this genre for your book?
Because it is easy to read and the messages are getting through more gently. I also read a lot of books in this genre so it comes to me naturally.

5. How much time did it take to complete this book?
It took me about 4 months to write it, then I sat on it for two years and eventually decided to get myself out there and publish it.

6. What makes your Book Special?
It is one of the very few works of fiction dedicated to tall people, so it is unique from that point of view because this is a fairly niche topic.

7. When is your second book coming?
Not quite yet but I am thinking about it...

8. While writing did you get any writer's block? What is the Tip that you will give others who are facing writer's block?
Yes, I did, but my way of dealing with it was just to leave it alone until I felt like writing again. It will happen when it is meant to, not when you try to force it!

9. What are your other hobbies besides being a talented author?
I am a blogger as well as a reviewer of rock music for a heavy metal website, so writing is part of my life as a hobby in more than one ways. I love listening to music, doing yoga and Pilates, and of course - reading good books.

10. Last but not the least, How did you feel, while giving this interview?
Important!
