This book had me on the edge of my seat with its intriguing plot and fascinating characters. I loved the complexity of the story. PI Jack Ludefance tackles not one, but two interwoven cases, bringing depth and excitement to the narrative. 

Each character has a distinct personality that comes alive on the page, making the suspense even more intense. The ending was a complete surprise, leaving me speechless by the end.
