My Take:

Meet Me In Milan is the new and third book in the Sherlock Holmes and Irene Adler Mysteries series, written by the author KD Sherrinford, who yet again invites us into a world of mystery and deception, where the deepest secrets are often hidden in plain sight.

From the very beginning, I was drawn into the atmosphere of this book, a world where intrigue and suspense reign supreme. Sherrinford's storytelling paints a vivid picture of a complex web of relationships and the quest for truth. 

What I particularly liked was the emotional depth that the characters bring to the narrative, making their struggles and dilemmas feel relatable.

As the narrative unfolds, the book also delves into the intricacies of marriage and the impact of friendships on those relationships. Sophia's misgivings regarding Irene's marriage add depth to the plot, making readers question the dynamics of loyalty and trust.

After reading this book, I found myself eagerly awaiting the next instalment in the series to see how the story evolves. 

KD Sherrinford's ability to create a rich and emotionally charged narrative is commendable. If you enjoy mysteries with well-developed characters and thought-provoking themes, this book is a must-read.
